About me
Andrew Misle is a yoga teacher, filmmaker, and storyteller whose practice transcends the mat, weaving movement, breath, and stillness into transformative experiences. With over 15 years of global teaching, Andrew’s offerings serve as a merging point for traditional Hatha, Raja, and Kriya Yoga, blending dynamic asana, pranayama, and meditation to awaken the body’s natural intelligence and connect practitioners to their inner power.
His journey began at eight years old with meditation and martial arts, offering focus and discipline. Later, yoga became a life-saving anchor during profound personal challenges, shaping his teaching style—a fusion of authenticity, creativity, and humor that empowers students to explore their potential.
From the Himalayas to the jungles of Peru, Andrew draws inspiration from diverse cultures and traditions, guiding students to bridge the physical and subtle through thoughtful sequencing and meditative stillness. His compassionate yet challenging approach encourages deep exploration and growth.
As a husband, father, adventurer, and motorcycle enthusiast, Andrew’s teachings reflect his passion for exploration—of the world, the self, and creative expression. Alongside his wife, Laura, he has led over 30 international retreats, guiding students through transformative journeys that echo his own path of growth and healing.
Whether at yoga festivals or intimate retreats, Andrew’s sessions combine movement, mindfulness, and wisdom, inviting participants to ignite their potential, embrace stillness, and reconnect with their truest selves. The practices unfold as a journey through asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dharana, and dhyana, guiding participants to bridge the physical and subtle layers of their being. He reminds us that yoga is not just a practice but a way of listening, learning, and returning to who we truly are.
