About me
My first yoga class was at the YMCA in 2001, then a few in res at UBC around 2003. I started attending my local studio in 2009. I've never touched my heels to the ground in d-dog. Did a 30 day challenge in 2014 (while unemployed) and 2017 (while employed) & loved both although I have to admit my practice is irregular if a constant. As Virginia Woolf may have said, "you cannot find peace by avoiding life": yoga has been an enriching force in my life. My focus is asanas, self-discipline and meditation: doves and fish are my bag, baby. Very much looking forward to a (fifth in 2020/2!) fun and nourishing weekend, community, mountain air & sweat, at BYF!
